At about the season halfway point CRF STUFF riders are having a great season so far. #17 Justin Barcia is leading the Lites East series and #21 Blake Wharton sits in 5th. The photo above is from Daytona practice where Barcia put down the fastest laps of the day.
In the West Coast Lites Series, Eli Tomac sits in 3rd and is showing every sign that he has what it takes to win the series as his results improve as the series progresses.
CRF STUFF rider and fan favorite #14 Kevin Windham is still in the game currently sitting in 10th place in the 2011 Monster Energy SX series. Kevin holeshot his hometown race in Houston and had a comfortable lead at about the halfway point and then suffered had a nasty crash in a tricky rhythm section due to wheel spin. Fortunately he wasn't hurt too bad and was able to finish.
This just may be the 2011 SX Lites East Series winner!
Congratulations to CRF STUFF rider Vicki Golden for achieving what many thought couldn't be done! We've been working with Vicki since she turned Pro in 2009 and we are proud to be a small part of her success.
Vicki surprised herself by grabbing the holeshot of her Sacramento AX qualifier. We're guessing, she wasn't the only one surprised!
We worked with Lance Vincent last year on the HHR HONDA Amateur Support team and now he has turned pro riding for the Rockwell 46 Motorsports Team. Lance is having a great rookie season with several top 10 SX Lites East finishes already under his belt early in the season. At his rookie debut at the Houston SX, he won the LCQ and ended th evening with an impressive 8th overall in his frist ever Pro SX race! Congratulations Lance!
Lances Team mate Bracken Hall has struggled with an injury and broke his heel during qualifying at Daytona and we figured he'd be out the rest of the SX season, but we just learned that he could be back in action as early as Jacksonvile, only missing the Indy round! We wish him a speedy recovery.
Bracken and Lance a week before the 2011 SX Lites East Series Kicks off.
Eli Tomac won us our first Supercross victory on February 19th at the San Diego round. Congratulations Eli!!

Eli Tomac, piloting the #243 Factory Connection Amsoil HONDA CRF 250R swept all 8 250 Pro motos, the perfect ending to his dominating amateur career. The 17 year old rider from Cortez Colorado makes his Pro debut May 22nd at the famous Hangtown Motocross Classic, the season opener of the 2010 LUCAS Oil AMA Outdoor MX National 12 race series. Tomac is the newest rider on the FACTORY CONNECTION RACING GEICO POWERSPORTS team.
Tomac explained why the time is right, “I went into Lake Whitney in Texas well-trained, me and my dad (cycling icon John Tomac) prepared really well for it. I kind of had the feeling I was going to win, but you never know. We had taken a lot of time off from November to March, so I really wasn’t sure where I was at.
“I won all my motos there, then went into Oak Hill with a ton of confidence and I made it happen there too.”
Tomac said he can’t wait to join the GEICO Powersports team and face the new challenge of racing as a pro.
“My dad and I have been preparing for the pro team since the winter,” Tomac said. “I’ve been around a lot of the pro guys quite a bit, so it shouldn’t be hard adjusting to the new team.
“I’ve been doing amateur races for about 10 years and going to the same track starts to get a little bit old. It’s going to be fun to take on new competition at new tracks.”
Tomac added that the chance to race on the big stage of the Supercross series is also an enticing prospect.
“I’m totally excited for Supercross,” he said. “I can’t wait to meet all the new fans and people.”
Scott Hart, CRF STUFF's owner said "We are very excited to be working with Eli and wouldn't be suprised to see him on the podium at Hangtown. Eli has been racing select WORCS events this winter on his 250 against the 450's and doing amazingly well in the 2-3 hour long races against top riders like Mike Brown, Kurt Caselli and Ricky Dietrich. I don't think Eli will have any problems adjusting to the longer pro moto format."

Lance Vincent #45 of Youngsville Louisiana rode his HONDA of HOUSTON RACING "Powered by Naveen" CRF250R to a 2nd overall all behind Eli Tomac at the Oak Hill rounds and he also achieved an impressive 3rd place finishes at both events in the 450 Pro Class on his 250F!
Lance has been with Honda of Houston Racing for 3 years.
He was one of those riders that pretty much flew under the radar for a number of years. He was always fast; he just didn't seem to turn heads. That all changed in 2008 at Vegas where won several Pro class motos against other top ranked riders and that pretty much the made whole industry say, "Who is the Lance Vincent kid?"
Lance has been working extremely hard to get to where he is today. His starts are phenomenal, and he will do whatever it takes to get around someone. Never a dirty rider, but he will get the job done. Look for Lance to go to the last four pro outdoor races of the 2010 Lucas Oil Nationals to pursue his life long dream of being a pro motocross racer.
More on Lance from a recent VURB article on the next hot pro prospects coming out of Loretta Lynns 2010
Lance Vincent #45
Straight from the swamps of Louisiana, Honda of Houston's Lance Vincent is probably one of the most underrated riders who will turn pro in 2011. He didn't pop up on the amateur radar until he was on a Supermini, but when he finally made his amateur national debut, it was a big one. He immediately showed the speed to hang with frontrunners Tomac and Anderson and has since been a staple at the front of the pack. Now heading into his final year as an amateur rider, Vincent is poised and ready to show the pro world what he's worth. He may be playing second fiddle to Anderson as a favorite at Loretta's, but don't count this kid out. He could be walking away from the Ranch as a champ. As with most of the other top amateurs, no word has been leaked as to who Vincent will be riding for in 2011, but we're under the assumption he will land somewhere big.

This spring CRF STUFF was contacted by two Rookie Pro riders (Vicki Golden WMA Pro #214 and Weston Peick #631) who were preparing their CRF's for battle in the 2009 Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Series, AKA "The Great Outdoors!" They were both having issues with the brakes on their CRF's and wanted to test our Factory Team Replica Kits. Both riders have equipped their national race bikes and practice bikes with CRF STUFF Pro Kits and are very happy with the results. We are also very happy with their results as they have quickly positioned themselves as the top performing rookies this year with solid top 3 and top 10 performances in their respective premier classes in the 2009 Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Series, consistently beating top ranked pros! See the press releases below for more details on these two gifted riders that we are fortunate to be working with.
